With more than 25 years of experience as a photographer, Leighton O'Connor has found himself behind the lens on the Galapagos Islands, in the Alaskan wilderness, riding in a helicopter along the Spanish seacoast above the world’s fastest sailing yachts, in concert halls and theaters. From the quiet green hills of Ireland to the fast life of Monaco and from wild grizzly bears to tall ships, Leighton has photographed it all and in a way that creates emotional images that capture the imagination of his audiences. Leighton has held many roles in his professional life: photographer, artist representative, marketing entrepreneur. The founder of blueSWIRLS.com, Leighton has never lost his love of photography and has taken his craft and transformed it into a multi-dimensional business that provides a wide range of services to corporations, small businesses and individuals.
In his spare time, you will find him shooting photographs of schooners, his children enjoying a game of soccer, or speedboats racing over the waves. Over the years, he has built an extensive library of over 3,000 stock photos that are available on his web site. http://www.leightonphoto.com/Sailing%20Regattas
